How to find the right size

Sizing Pram Tyres / Inner Tubes

Sizing pram tyres is fairly simple, all you need to do is look on the side wall of your existing tyres and write those numbers down. Once you have the numbers you just need to match up with what we have on sale. We have done much of the hard work already with finding these sizes, and most of the time a simple search of your pram in the search box on our website will take you to the ones that will fit.

Common sizes:
  • 12 ½ x 1.75 x 2 ¼ (47-203) Mostly found on Phil & Teds.
  • 12 ½ x 2 ¼ (57-203) or (62-203) or (65-203) Very common size on prams.
  • 270 x 47-203 Mostly found on Jane prams.
  • 280 x 65-203 Any of of 12 ½ x 2 14 tyres fit this size.
  • 300 x 55 Mostly Found on Phil & Teds Vibe, Verve and Smart Lux.
  • 10 x 1.75/2 (47-152) Often used on the smaller front wheel of 3 wheelers.
  • 10 x 2 (54-152) Often used on the smaller front wheel of 3 wheelers.
  • 200 x 50 – Very small tyre often used on small double wheels at the front.
  • 8 ½ x 2 - Not so common on prams but not unheard of.

Below is a demonstration of how this will look on your tyre: See the 12 1/2 x 1.75 x 2 1/4 on there? Thats all you're looking for. Simple! The 47-203 in brackets next to it is also the sizing but thats in millimetres and it equates to the same size like you might have just read above.

Sizing Inner Tubes

Valve Types

We sell all our pram tyre and tube sets / pram tubes with an angled valve for easy access with a pump, some sets sold online are listed with straight valve inner tubes because they're cheaper. Problem is that you can't often get a pump on them to inflate on such small wheels.

If you are still unsure, please send us a message and we'll get back to you with link to the right tyres / tubes you're looking for.
